Denver’s iconic fly shop closes its doors

Denver and Colorado as a whole have become an impossible place to run a small business.

Tucker was renowned in the west for not paying his bills. He owed countless businesses and people money. You mentioned his name in a Montana and they knew of him. Tucker rhymes with something that starts with an F. And he was called that many times. He ran an upscale pretentious shop that tried to upsell you. This will not affect the flyfishing industry in Colorado one bit. I do feel bad for a few of his employees. They were easy and fun to work with. Anglers All took over the shop in the photo on 6th Ave 2 years ago. Chris has an amazing team working for him. He also gives back to the community and to the Colorado chapter or Trouts Unlimited. Plus there are many great shops in the metro area and the ones by the waters you are going to fish know what is working best. Thankfully I was able to get paid what I was owed. But it took a lot of time and effort.

I left denver . taxes and fees are crazy post covid. set up shop in Adams county. the safety, sheriff, and Low County taxes business fees save you 6-8%!
