Sumitomo Pharma is making waves in Japan with a new Parkinson’s treatment that literally puts lab-grown brain cells into patients’ heads. Using iPS cells (think: adult cells turned back into super-flexible stem cells), they’re aiming to replace the dopamine cells Parkinson’s destroys. Early trials? No major side effects after two years, and over half saw better movement. Still early days, but if approved, this could be the world’s first regenerative therapy for Parkinson’s! Imagine the possibilities… #Health #BodyHealth #Parkinsons
