The “LeBron is the next Magic” comparison has always been tricky for me. LeBron’s vision and passing are elite, but his style often requires teammates to adjust to fit around him. Think about it: Wade took a backseat, Bosh and Love reinvented their games, and Westbrook had to reshape his entire role. Magic Johnson, on the other hand, thrived by elevating his teammates exactly as they were. No Laker had to change their identity to play with Magic — he was the ultimate plug-and-play distributor. Statistically, Magic averaged more assists than made field goals for his entire career. LeBron has done that only once, in 2020. Both had all-star rosters around them, but as pure passers, Magic operated on another level. LeBron’s the better all-around player, no question. But if we’re talking pure distribution? Magic still wears the crown. #NBA #LeBronJames #MagicJohnson #BasketballDebate #NBAHistory #Lakers #GOATDebate #MyNBAGOAT #Sports
