Thrift Store Sticker Shock Is Real

Well, they say you get what you pay for you’re looking at a fine vintage stool that’s real wood. You know what it’s worth but you would love to gloat about how cheaply you stole it from the Goodwill store wouldn’t you like to see a 15 or $20 price tag on it you would just be gloating about how Great apprise you stole from Goodwill the money that you contribute goes to charities don’t you feel good about the proceeds. You are willing to pay what something is worth and you know that stool is fine Wood can you buy that stool at Walmart? No, you can’t! so just buy the damn thing!

Thrift stores are high price that’s why they still have things from 20 years ago too high.There’s is a thrift store here where I live and they tried to sale a couch for $ 450. And you can all most buy a new one for that. They get stuff donated to the thrift store they don’t have to put a high price on it. I go to a thrift store where I can buy three T- shirts for $1.00 that’s a good price.

goodwill is a corporation nit a charity, where I live they bought property for 1 million dollars to build bigger store with more parking then turned around and SOLD that land for 2 million dollars

That’s is so wrong they have this stuff handed to them and it’s supposed to be good will and you can go to a store and buy this stuff brand new for the price they are selling this stuff and some is overpriced I check in line for some of the prices they have on them it is ridiculous for what they want for it’s

Goodwill actually participates in a program and they help train the disabled so they are able to work. They also get paid something for working there.
