Newstead was there to fill a huge hole...and deserves alot more credit then he gets. I wish he was still with them. I just don't think Robert brings the same energy Jason did...but just my opinion as a fan I guess

Ron was in a band as basically a garage band before they made it big. That is like saying some kid on a high school sports team saying is was part of other players that went pro. The guys a nice guy but come on dude, you were never part of the real Metallica.

Newsted???? Oh, hell no! Cliff Burton is the only Bassist that was good for Metallica. The new guy is good for what they do these day, not good metal. Newstead, what a joke. He only helped get the Flotsum and Jetsom stigma off him. Just a Lars yes man.
