Southwest’s Seat Shuffle: No More Miracle Walks

This is crazy..because I can walk short distaces with my hip replacement but not through the airport.

So no more handicap seating and families with children seating first . Southwest is crumbling . We have a southwest credit card , guess it goes in the lock box .

Been a sw member since 1986. They have treated me very well over the years. I will continue to fly them. I can not believe all the crybabies over some minor changes. Bag fees. Can't believe you do not have a sw credit card.

They aren’t doing anything different than the other airlines have been doing for years. Frankly I’m surprised that it took them this long to change their business model. I’m pretty confident that those with disabilities will still be allowed to board first, they will just have to sit in their assigned seat.

Nearly half of the passengers flying to and from FLORIDA are miracle walkers. It is so obvious and ridiculous that you have to laugh. Also, the rule for preboarding per one disabled passenger is supposed to allow one companion passenger, but nope they bring the entire village expecting to get preboarding privilege. Passengers abused the system and broke it💯😎Deal with it

I'm happy about this.I will never fly a plane that does not have assigned seating.All it does is cause people to rush and cause confusion. It does. N't matter at all, if you're in a wheelchair or not, you will still have your assigned seating and they will still let you board first.You will just be in an assigned seat. And from reading of these comments, it sounds to me like some of you should not be on a plane.If you can't even walk a couple of steps you need to take another Avenue.The airport is not responsible for your mobility.

My last flight on SW was 3 weeks ago. There were 18 wheelchairs in line for boarding. When we got to our destination, many of those people were walking off the plane and towards the exit without assistance. I have no issues with handicapped passengers boarding first but some definitely took advantage of getting seated before the rest of us.

I always flew southwest because I am disabled,it takes me time to board and time deplan. this is now ruined for me and my 80 year old husband. Thanks southwest you now are southworst.if I could i would take you to court for handicap discrimination.

they are loosing people because if a person can't walk the airports are huge and if a person got asthma is difficult to walk so they will go to another airline
