Somewhere along the line, entertainment started feeling like homework. Everything’s either a “cinematic universe” that needs a spreadsheet to follow, or a “prestige series” that’s so heavy you need a support group afterward. Don’t get me wrong — I love deep, meaningful storytelling. But sometimes? I just want something fun, unapologetic, and a little bit ridiculous. Remember when we had blockbusters that didn’t take themselves too seriously? Or sitcoms that didn’t need to “make a statement” every single episode? Here’s my take: not everything has to be groundbreaking. Some stories can just exist to make us laugh, gasp, or escape for two hours. And that’s okay. In fact — that’s kind of the whole point. ⸻ #EntertainmentOpinion #TVTalk #MovieRant #StreamingLife #PopCultureTake #FilmAndTV #JustForFun #Entertainment
