I watched my grand daughter go thru treatments from day 2 of her life to now at the age of 7 .She did it with a smile on her face everyday. been cancer free going on 3 years now. It can save lives

My Grandson(31) went thru Chemo when he was 17. He had Stage 4 Cancer. I asked him about 10 years or so ago if he would ever go thru Chemo again? He said absolutely. He said he may have been bald, threw-up alot, was in pain, however I am still alive.

It was the chemo treatments for my grandmother's cancer that caused her heart to fail.

The only guarantee with chemo is that you'll get cancer again. Maybe not the same cancer, but chemo is so destructive to your immune system it can't detect or destroy the damaged cells that cause cancer. There are better solutions for some cancers, but we have a long way to go on others.

It truly depends on your health, the kind of cancer, how far long is the cancer ect. Not all chemo works for every type of cancer

your mom is right, I know how it looks and you want someone to blame but chemo is not the answer

I had cancer (NHL) in 2016. Chemo sucked, but I’m alive and get to see my daughter grow up. I would 100% do it again. I’m healthy now and have had no residual effects from the chemo. Granted this is only my experience, I can’t tell others what to do.

it is an individual choice. if it would happen to me I would decline treatment. I've had a touchy stomach all my life and I would not want to live a sicker life only to have the cancer return somewhere else. I'm 65...... my nephew went thru chemo at 38 and it was a horrible experience for him, he had a strong gut and was still very sick from the treatment. just my opinion

I’m watching my sister suffer from the effects of cancer treatments and it’s worse than the cancer. My cousin died from heart failure caused by chemo. It’s not conspiracy, it’s common sense. Look up the stats.

I can speak on this subject because I experienced it myself , I almost died because of chemo .... I had 1 treatment and for 2 weeks I was unable to keep anything on my stomach . I got so weak I went to the hospital , they gave me fluids through a IV , blood work looked good , I was ok for 1 day and it started back . I was back in the ER exactly 1 week to day from my 1st ER visit I had to go back , I told my son I was dying and was admitted that time , because yes , it fact I was dying . Septis was all in my bloodstream and if I hadn't gotten to the hospital when I did on that 2nd visit I would have died within another hour all because of chemo . Will I ever take chemo again ? NO I WILL NOT !!!! I didn't even finish my treatments , that was 17 years ago , I'm 63 years old and cancer free . Chemo effects everyone differently .
