Hawaiʻi’s only Willed Body Program just hit pause on new enrollments because so many people want to donate, there’s no more room. The John A. Burns School of Medicine says their morgue can only handle 75 bodies, but they get about 150 donors a year—double the capacity! If you’ve already signed up, you’re still in, but no new forms will be accepted after August 22. It’s wild to see so much community support for medical education, but it also raises questions about how we balance generosity with limited resources. What do you think this means for the future of medical training in Hawaiʻi? #Education #College #Hawaii
