Keep him. He is quite capable of putting up big numbers like he did a couple of years ago. If he bounces back next year then possibly trade him where his value would be sky high. I’m really liking this young lineup we have. With the pitching being the best in the majors since the All Star and 2 of our top pitchers returning next year the future is bright!

I think they should keep both. Basallo had his first game catching last night and had a passed ball. I think he can be first base and catch about 30% each and 20 % DH. I wonder how he will fare against tough lefty pitchers. Rutchman is a switch hitter and Orioles have been bad against lefties most of the season.

keep Rush through 26' and have him work with Bassallo's catching. The kid isn't ready to catch 140 games at this level. Such could really help. Meanwhile, give Bassallo some reps in the OF.
