I believe the coach is trying to safe his job. The way he’s trying to do it is laughable. The colts have brought in much better QB than check down Danny! They have all failed! At least AR is fun to watch. He did improve, yes he missed a o line call but he did it in preseason! GM, coach should have been fired last year.

maybe the colts just don't feel he's ready so they are putting Jones out there until Richardson is ready to be a starter. let's not pretend what he has shown so far made anyone think he's a franchise QB. he was raw to begin with and probably should have never started in the first place
