Discovered an unknown yellow pill in with my new prescription of white pills
Hey everyone, need some advice 🆘 I just got a new prescription of white pills, but when I opened the bottle, there was this unknown yellow pill mixed in. 😳 Has anyone ever seen this before? Should I call my pharmacy or the doctor first? Totally confused and a little worried… #Safety #NeedHelp

Take it back to the pharmacy, but document what you found first (e.g. pictures). This is a dispensing error and must be reported to the Board of Pharmacy (by the pharmacy/pharmacist involved) of that state.

Sometimes they run out out of a type and use the same medicine in different form or colors look up the pill number that should tell you

I think what I would do is call all of my relatives and then friends and neighbors and tell them about it. Then while they are all gathered at your house, somebody could bring a bucket of chicken and you could have a picnic but whatever you do, don't call the pharmacy and ask them about it..Sheesh

That happened to me and the pharmacist said they ran out of that generic brand and substitute it for another brand. But I would still take it back to the pharmacist to make sure

Look the number up on Google to see what kind of pill it is . It may be the same pill only from a different distributor .

Summer breeze
This has happened to me before but it was more then one, i just checked the numbers on the internet and it turned put to be the right pill just from a different manufacturer.
