Trucker Drama: Why Your Delivery’s Late

Fun fact: Drivers have been faking logs since swindle sheets were invented. I learned how to run 3 separate log books when I was a teenager from a man who drove US Mail to California. Before he died, he ran a successful trucking company of 50+ trucks, and could make the drive from Effingham, IL to Los Angeles, CA in 26hrs. The idea that companies and O/O's are faking electronic logs today is about as "Duh" as it gets. That said, any company forcing a driver to drive beyond their limits should have their management line up for a public ass whoopin. 👍

you can't falsify ELDs, possibly they're late because every 50 mi there's a DOT station I'll be there late because the regen system went out, possibly they're late because the driver s*** at the docks most of his driving time waiting to get loaded.

not only that, they leave out the shipper who takes 8 hours too load 10 pallets. oh if it goes through customs months. there is a lot of reasons why deliveries are late. ELDs are just one part 14 hour rule ect.

The eld doesn’t lie

Personally right now I’m parked due to my elog and my dispatcher isn’t really happy. I told him I didn’t have the hours to do this load but he said at least load it so now I’m loaded and no way I can be 700 miles away in 18 hours because 10 hours are going sitting here. 700 miles in 8 hours just doesn’t compute with a electric log

yes eld's can be falsified i know this as a fact there's a phone# you can call/text and get what ever you need changed. I dont care who doesn't believe me this is why every 2 or 3 months the dot puts out a list of eld companies that are banned / must stop being used immediately. during a dot inspection the officer can't even see the changes that have been made, for last 8 days of duty status.this is a fact, but if there is ever an accident, and an investigation they will find any edits that have been made when times on fuel transactions, tolls paid dont match..first 3 things they eld support team ask are if bol is printed or electronic document(email of bol) is there a time stamp or written on bol, if you have been inspected in last 8 days by dot did the officer emailed himself the last 8 days of logs, loaded or empty? how can I help you , ok take me aprx 15 min you'll have 14 more hrs. the eld support isn't even in the USA, they can't be prosecuted for fraud or forgery.simple facts
