Had to have been a stupid scientist to not consider cattle likely assisted in pulling these massive stones. Cattle were good enough for pulling plows, but not stones?

Scientists would never have supposed that cattle would have been used as a beast of burden without seeing some kind of arrow pointing to the idea. That's how they are. We take a wheel for granted, but there was a time that that would never have been in a human wheelhouse. Neither would have been to use an animal to do manual labor of that nature. Scientists have to see evidence that was happening. Until then, they're just guessing and trying to put themselves into the situation.
