Yucaipa, CA – The case of missing 7-month-old Emmanuel Haro has taken a devastating turn. TMZ and multiple outlets confirm that Emmanuel’s parents, Jake and Rebecca Haro, were arrested Friday after investigators carried out a major search at their Cabazon home. Rebecca Haro originally told police Emmanuel was abducted on August 14 while she changed his diaper in a Big 5 parking lot. She claimed she was attacked from behind and woke up to find her baby gone. Authorities, however, found inconsistencies in her account. Soon after, she stopped cooperating with investigators, sparking even more suspicion. This week, law enforcement searched the Haro home, seized vehicles and electronics, and scoured the surrounding area with K-9 units. Both parents were then taken into custody. Reports indicate they could now face murder charges. Adding to the gravity, it’s been revealed that Jake Haro was previously convicted of child cruelty in 2023, after his young daughter suffered severe injuries that left her blind and developmentally impaired. Despite the arrests, Emmanuel has not been found. Investigators continue to follow up on leads and are asking anyone with information to contact the Specialized Investigations Division at 909-890-4904. The case that began as a desperate search for a missing child has now spiraled into a criminal investigation with a chilling past and an uncertain future. #MissingChild #Emmanuelharo #ChildGoneMissing #Justice
