A tour bus carrying more than 50 people overturned today on the New York State Thruway (I-90) near Pembroke, about 25 miles east of Buffalo. Multiple people have died, including at least one child. Dozens of others were hurt, some seriously, and rushed to nearby hospitals by ambulance and medical helicopters. Passengers included families and tourists, many from overseas. Translators have been called in to help. Governor Kathy Hochul says the state is treating this as a mass casualty incident. The bus was headed east when it lost control, hit the median, and rolled into a ditch. All lanes of I-90 between Pembroke (Exit 48A) and Depew (Exit 49) are closed. Drivers are urged to avoid the area. This heartbreaking crash has shaken the region. Emergency crews are still on scene, and the investigation is ongoing. š #TourBus #accident #newyork #ThruwayTrouble #injured
