Southwest’s New Seat Rules: What You Need to Know

My only complaint with SW after 25 years of loyalty is the Pre Boarding situation. It is way out of control. My last trip from New Orleans to Nashville was ridiculous. 9 wheel chairs where 5 really needed them the other 4 jumped right up when we landed and walked off the plane with no problem😡 Now for the real fakers. I counted 17 people who needed pre board but could walk on the plane with no issues and the first 5 of us in line in Business select were upset. SW has to stop allowing this to happen. Very aggravating 😡😡😡

Sellouts. Awful CEO. Ruined a great airline. Only way they’ll go back to their roots is if we boycott and take different airlines.

well, SWA is now no different than any other airline therefore my A list status means nothing, so I'll be flying other airlines where I have accumulated points, and so far

Talk about discrimination !! Just wait… they will get sued left and right…. they are going to get hit with HIPPA as well

just curious for those of you saying disappointed or disgraceful what does the actual person do next to the plus size person if they don't buy an extra seat. that's disgraceful and not fair

I fly SWA a lot & have A-List preference status. SWA can take this to the bank since I will be considered a plus customer now and made to be humiliated now when boarding and paying them top dollar for business sele⁸ct seats. They can choke on their seats. This was the last straw with me, I will be flying others now since they see no value in me as a customer.

I'm glad all these people won't be flying SW anymore! Less crowded flights! 😆
