A massive new art piece at Lake St. Clair Metropark is turning heads—and sparking conversations about our environment. Detroit artist Halima Afi Cassells crafted a giant photo frame shaped like a lake sturgeon, using plastic, metal, and glass collected from the park and around Detroit. Not only is it a cool spot for photos, but it’s also a reminder of the ancient sturgeon’s role in our ecosystem and the impact of recycling. Community members even helped build it! How do you feel about art being used to inspire environmental action in our parks? #News #DetroitArt #LakeStClair
