Aldi’s Name-Brand Switch Is Making Shopping Pricier?!
Anyone else notice Aldi sneaking in more name-brand products lately? One shopper is seriously over it, saying it’s jacking up their grocery bill and crowding out Aldi’s own cheaper stuff. Bouillon jars replaced by Campbell’s soup, endcaps gone for signage—what’s happening?! If we wanted name-brand prices, we’d shop somewhere else! I have noticed the prices slowly creeping up at Aldi. I shop most items by price per ounce and many times Walmart, Rouses and even Winn Dixie. Are better

People are asking Aldi to carry them probably bigger Aldi sells more stuff than the stand alone stores (19,000 sq ft) compared to the ones in the shopping center which run from 21,000 to 28,000 sq ft stores
