what a stupid lying article. I picked strawberries as a kid over 50 years ago, got paid more than that. but I was tickled pink to get paid what I was. we were taught if you are hungry or want something, you work for it. we never in our life took a free handout. pathetic worms anymore that don't know how to get off the couch. no respect for themselves or anyone else. gimme gimme gimme.

I have a small hobby farm. Apples, cherries, peaches, plums, strawberries, blackberries, raspberries, cherries, cherries chickens. I do have a handyman who helps about 8 hours a month. At 70, I do the daily work including the harvesting, canning and preserving. Who needs teens or immigrant labor?
