I don't use deet because I'd rather not use chemicals. I am a mosquito magnet myself and I don't drink or type o. I use olive oil infused with Oregano, Basil, thyme and garlic and it works as well as deet for me. Like deet you have to reapply every few hours but I would rather smell like spaghetti than use deet and have chemicals get into my blood stream transdermally. Hope this helps someone
