Our new backyard garden is a blank canvas. My kids are excited to plant flowers everywhere, in random patches. I’m tempted to do neat rows for vegetables. They argue that a “messy” garden is fun and encourages wildlife. I argue that neat rows are easier to manage and harvest. I’m curious—do messy gardens teach kids more than perfectly planned ones? Or is it just chaos waiting to happen? #House #FamilyGarden #ParentingInGarden
