When Someone Borrowed My Bobcat. This Is My Week Now.

I'm a little frustrated right now. I have an employee whose uncle has a bunch of land and we had just finished a job dumping about thirty yards of dirt there. They asked if they could borrow my loader to spread it out. They did that just fine. But then they decided to use the loader for some other work they wanted done without asking. And now it is completely stuck in the mud. So now a huge part of my week is completely screwed. Well, since he has a bunch of land, maybe you could trade him for ruining your bobcat some land for the cost of pulling your bobcat out of the mud and getting it repaired to its fully functional state. I’m sure he wouldn’t mind parting with some of the land since he did mine burying it in the mud👍🏼

They didn’t have your permission to use it on the other project , hold them responsible and have them dig it out or tow it out … that was their doings and should pay for any damages

I learned a long, long time ago to not lend my tools. When you do, you never get them back, sometimes damaged and not longer work. Loaders are never to be loaned out, or any expensive equipment period.

That’s why I do not allow anyone to borrow my tools, and or use my truck for moving or delivering anything. They only care for things they paid for. And are careless with other peoples belongings.
