Why Gas Prices Might Drop Soon

no reason for gas prices to be so high when the oil companies rack up tens of millions in PROFIT!

In what lifetime will gasoline prices go back down? We hear this all the time and see no results.

Funny to see this. Last night it was $2.74 in LeMars Iowa. Today its $3.19. Crazy!!

Supply and demand has never ruled in the petroleum industry. Monopoly and manipulation have. When I operated a station in the 70s I got a call every morning dictating the price of gas. When I walked out to change the price the competing company across the street would be doing the same thing with the same price. We used to laugh about it.

monday gas was $2.79 a gallon here. yesterday it went to $3.19. 40 cents a gallon increase over night. wasn't surprised though. most of the gas stations here have been doing that all summer. gas would be $3.09 for 4 days of the weak and $2.79 for 3. Sam's and bj's were the only ones to stay consistent all the time. there were always long lines at those two every day.
