This Tattoo Has Been Living in My Head Rent-Free For Years 🤩

I saw this photo of a tattoo years ago and I have not stopped thinking about it since. The thing is, the tattoo is a mermaid. I am not a big fan of mermaids or aquatic creatures so the design itself does not hold much meaning to me. It feels wrong to get a tattoo of something that I do not feel a connection to. I am hoping someone out there can help me brainstorm. My dad (RIP) was in the Navy and I was young when he died from cancer but I will always remember the mermaid he had tattooed on his chest and how he could flex his muscles and make her move! 😆🥰

change it to a person.. animal... favorite character.. angel.. That way it still looks like a shadow or impression of something trying to come out of your skin.
