my pharmacy requires showing drivers license/ ID before picking up controlled meds, and any new meds--1st time fill (pharmacist consultation with new ones) because I have a hyphenated (double) last name, I always show it so it's easier for them to look up if it's ready for pickup or in the works still. So if your pharmacy didn't ID correctly....controlled substance legally cannot be picked up by just anyone....you have a problem. Not having access to your meds, and possibly his interference is cause for concern. Privacy is also a factor, especially if you aren't together. One thought though...if he was picking up for the child, pharmacy probably wouldn't question his picking up all of the ones ready....they don't know if you're not together/divorced. You CAN get a note put in your file stating who can or cannot pick up your meds.
