Thousands packed Crown Heights as young steelpan musicians brought Caribbean culture to life at the 13th Annual Youth Pan Fest. From soloists as young as six to full junior bands, the energy was contagious—music, food, crafts, and free school supplies made it a true community celebration. Pan Evolution Steel Orchestra took top honors, but every performance showed how NYC’s Caribbean roots are thriving in the next generation. It’s inspiring to see local youth keeping this vibrant tradition alive and sharing it with the whole city.
