I would not make that trade because the overlap with Donte and Clarkson would be an issue. Added to that no one player Donte,who is essentially a role player is worth two rotational pieces, Duece and Yabusele. .Lastly Yabusele is insurance for the inevitable Mitchell Robinson injury. He can play the four and small ball five positions.

I was excited about Yabusele this season, he was a wild man in the Olympics and Knicks fans know Deuce is as reliable as they come but Bring DONTE back, I would rather him than deuce coming off the bench, hes full head of steam and clutch, BRING DD back to the Knicks.

As much as I would love Dante coming back to NY, I don’t like this deal! Deuce has proven himself and we need depth in the paint! C’mon NY, let’s not overthink this! We are right there baby! 🔥🔥

The Knicks lost Donte in the trade and lost a weapon tgey couldn’t replace, it cost them the championship. It wasn’t Thibodeau fault it was letting go a very essential piece. They still need another like Beasley to win it all.
