I used to take Amlodipine. Started replacing meals with a protein shake that tastes like a chocolate milkshake (skipped meals b/c the shakes kept me full). Here's the ingredients for a full size blender: 3 cartons of Atkins dark chocolate protein shake, 1/5th blender of spinach, 1/5th blender of strawberries, 1/5th blender of bananas that are more green than yellow (less sugar), 1/5th blender of blueberries, 1/5th blender of watermelon or cantaloupe or apple. Add about 2 cups water to think out the mixture a bit. Effortlessly lost weight, got off BP med. I drink about 1 blender of this stuff per day (even as a diabetic w/ type 2 ) And my blood sugar levels you would think would be spiking, but are down to about half of the all time highs.💕

Monitor your blood pressure readings at home before going on meds. Mine was high at doctor’s office so I got prescription which I’ve been on for 3 years. I was afraid to check my readings but started to. Haven’t taken amlodipine for 3 weeks and my readings are wonderful. 119/78 today.

the possible side effects would definitely keep me away from it!!!! Research, people , before you get all exited. All these new drugs coming out have side effects WORSE than what it's supposed to be treating.

I think I’ll let it hang out for a while and see what it does before giving that to anyone. That’s my policy with most new drugs. A lot of side effects come out after the first few years that weren’t know during trials. Like with Ozempic and others
