Can't bring Miller up due to the fact that Turner is lighting it up right now and Stott is steady and not a fielding problem. You also don't want to have to take Sosa's bat out of the lineup.

It is tough to imagine another infielder up right now, but Painter seems to be having serious control issues, both simple balls v strikes and then location within the strike zone to miss bats. TJ surgery may affect athletes differently, but this is concerning.

Tommy John takes 2 years for most to come back from. Painter's stuff is still nasty. He'll get his command back next year and return to form. Miller has looked great for about a month. He's not coming up until September of 2026 or 2027.
