I’ve used Safelite several times without any problems. Replaced 2 windshields, and had a chip repaired.

I had a leak around my front windshield and I used Safelite and the technician was really friendly and amazing he knew what he was doing. He explained everything he was going to do and did exactly what he said. He even showed me what was causing the leak...it was caused when the car manufacturer didn't install the front windshield right. Before you ask if my insurance company paid for the repaired, no they... they said it was caused by wear and tear. So I paid for the repair..it was worth every penny.

They have to replace it my ins i only pay 7 bucks month for window ins totally worth it

Also be aware that replacement glass isn’t always as good as the OEM glass. We had higher quality acoustic glass and the insurance would only pay for inferior standard glass. We ended up paying the difference.

It took me 4 appointments to get my windshield replaced at Safelite. First 3 times I arrived at store I was told that the windshield they ordered was cracked. No compensation for their screw ups was given.

During a chip repair the customer is told of the potential the windshield may break (no guarantee) and a waiver is even signed stating they're not at fault. The glass was already broken. Safelite ATTEMTED to save you the costly replacement. I've had the procedure done several times, with success. Thanks Safelite.

Get the $10 glue kit from amazon. It works perfectly on any small chip or crap. Safelite is now officially crap, they make sure your insurance reports a “claim” and it goes against your claim record. F’ers.
