Many "Thrift" stores are no longer thrifty. Some have higher prices than brand new at Walmart or new sales prices elsewhere. 🤔

I regularly shop at goodwill. mens jeans were almost $10.00. i can buy jeans new at walmart for about the same. wow! furniture is still reasonable since it takes up a lot of room they have to sell it quickly. pots and pans outrageous. like fast food places their prices have gone up and up taking advantage of customers trying to just get by.

I saw an obviously used plastic Easter basket clearly marked for 98 cents at Walmart. You all know exactly the one I'm referring to. The price tag for goodwill was priced at a shocking $2.98! Doe eyed, I took it to an employee thinking it was some mistake. She informed me that it was indeed as marked, $2.98 . That is greedy. I won't ever step into a good will store. never

Screw Goodwill..the best places now are garage sales in high end neighborhoods, church bazaars & estate sales.

I went to a thrift store and they had a read along childs book it was from target still had the clearance target tag on it for 1.98 cent they was asking 19.95 so I asked could I get it at the target price she told me no and scratched it off and said thatvwas their price

Smaller niche stores are better. most are volunteer run, merchandise is looked over before it is placed on the sales floor. prices are very reasonable.
