Nope you don’t get to decide on something I pay for. If it becomes a distraction with my child I will handle that issue. This isn’t the same world we grew up in so tired of hearing “in my day we didn’t have cellphones and we survived just fine”. Schools want to take away phones but yet give kids iPads and chromebooks to do their assignments and access textbooks on.

schools don't like phones in school as it can be a verified source of facts to events that happen in school. Should students use them during class time, absolutely not. I would like to see cameras with audio in every classroom and cafeteria, with a 2-person access key to the recording box, so no one person can destroy recordings. There is way too much bias going on in schools nowadays, and RO's can't be everywhere.

A parent can make a rule that phones are for after school. They dont go to school. Why can't parents just handle it? You want every school to have pouches? Okay, the parents can provide them or they can make some rules in their homes.

Part of the problem is the parents are constantly contacting their students while they are in school and not supposed to have access ! A parent does not need constant contact, you are not allowing your child to develop and learn how to take care of themselves.

don't bother with paying extra for anything just put then in lockers like my kids school have done.
