The team who gets the best player in a trade invariably wins. The Parsons matter was obviously personal to Jones who somehow thought an unplanned conversation with Parsons amounted to a contract. A player is entitled to be represented despite Jerry’s thoughts to the contrary. Until both parties sign a contract, there is no agreement.
