I don’t think there are very many lions fans out there today that think that Davenport is gonna be the answer opposite of Hutchinson that guy hasn’t been able to stay on the field for more than five games. And the depth behind him is pretty bad. I think all lions fans understand that their is going to be some contracts that need to be addressed over the next two seasons, the Lions have 36 million in cap space currently and with the cap going up again next year they’ll probably have closer to 50 million in cap. Space With some restructuring of some veteran contracts. You’ll probably have closer to 65 million in cap space sign Smith to a three-year contract for 30 million would give the lions some legitimate veteran production opposite of Hutchinson Davenport could be used as rotational player and if he can stay healthy .
