Thrift Store’s $40 Pot Drama

ridiculous Goodwill obviously is a major offender quit shopping there years ago.

I just bought a $5.99 fondue pot set at goodwill in Clarksville, it was taped up tight so I couldn't see if all the pieces were there. They told me I had 3 days to return it if there was an issue. I went to the parking lot to check before I left because I live about an hour away, some one trying to be slick has stashed a nice watch inside trying to hide it before taping it closed. So I got a $325 Marc Jacobs rose gold watch AND my complete fondue set for 6 bucks

I quit donating to Goodwill many years ago. I would rather give the stuff to people n need

People who set the prices don’t know what the heck they are doing.

The Mission store here, put out a little wicker doll carriage ( maybe 18"" long) that was DONATED to them $ 125.00. What Da F? Are you 💩ing me?

Stop supporting goodwill. Everything they sell, I'd donated to them and to take a new item with the price tag still attached and stick a price tag on itcwith a. increased price. It wrong and they k iw it, but if people still continue to support them, they won't stop.

I have one of these pots from the1960s and it's the best pot in my cabinets. The pot is durable, almost impossible to scratch and heats evenly. While the price is inflated, I would gladly pay it for another.

This was at Goodwill in Tx. , $6 new at the General Dollar Store. But Goodwill wants to be greedy and charge$8.99.
