But they sure screwed Ohio State for the Tattoo scandal! Big tough guys then! What’s the NCAA going to do with all the Michigan money? Probably, line their own pockets first? I say get rid of the NCAA and let every team do whatever you want. Hell, why even make the players go to school? Elect 7 people to sit on the selection committee for the 12 playoff spots and then establish teams for the bowl games. Simple. No rules concerning recruiting, payments, transfers, nothing, just battle it out! Best team wins! The only problem with this is the referees! Who can trust them?

It's got to be more about a brotherhood preparing for battle nothing to do with $ I agree with the other people commenting $$ has ruined the sport. Once you are paid you don't have to compete to be the best anymore.
