Diana would have seen straight through her, the first time they met. I feel like she’d gently guide him, but would make it very clear before they got engaged. Whether Harry would take her advice or guidance is a crapshoot

I'm going by what Diana's son and family think. Harry has said that Meghan reminded him of his mother. Earl Spencer offered the Spencer Tiara to Meghan for her wedding and gifted her with Diana's cross necklace. Lady Sarah and Lady Jane visited Prince Harry and Meghan in California for Princess Lilibet's christening. Diana's family certainly seems to approve of Meghan.
