lol I love Led Zeppelin but every video I’ve seen of them live looked like they played like crap. I don’t want to hear Dazed and Confused for forty fucking minutes

Led Zeppelin, when performing live, were quite often better than any band before or since. Were they always at their 100% best live? No. Did they still put on legendary concerts playing some of the greatest classic rock songs of all time? YES.

Zeppelin wasn't a normal band. They had 2 members who were studio musicians and knew how it worked. All of them had been in other bands. Paige was in a well-known band. They were actual musicians. Studio time was expensive and limited back then because there were not a lot of them around.The band recorded 2 albums in one year while touring. Hardly anyone did that, then let alone now.

yes I have over 60 CD bootlegs of live shows from led Zeppelin from 69 to 77 far and few good ones in between more bad performances than good performances

They played a lot of shows, and some were magnificent and on point, while others struggled with road dirtiness and fatigue.

Most of the crowd was stoned so they wouldn’t know perfect from awful. Never saw LZ live but wish I did.

It happens with all bands. by the time they are getting to the end of their tours, they are worn out, and not playing as good as when they started the tour.

Plant is nothing without Zeppelin. Ever listen to his solo stuff? Its completely garbage.
