that crap almost got me but I was one of the lucky ones. been free for 8:yrs . so sorry for your loss. but addict's have to decide to quit for themselves. no matter what anyone said it made no difference. I got sick and tired of being sick and tired 👍👍👍

I was at the bus stop and someone said you want to hit this .They were smoking a joint .I said yeah sure .That's all I remember. until I woke up with emergency personal all around me .They narcan me . now I don't trust anyone

I lived that miserable life for years and on September 11,2014 God answered my prayers and gave me the strength and will I needed to call it quits and walk away,I just celebrated 11 years last week!! I thank God everyday for my sobriety!! Congratulations to everyone with clean time,it's amazing isn't it!!!!!

I battled with heroin and fentanyl addiction from age 16 to age 26. Multiple overdoses, having to be narcaned, hospitals, rehabs, jails & prison. I finally got clean after a long stay in state prison. Since I have been home my whole life has changed for the better. There’s a point in addiction where you have a choice to either continue down the same path or change directions. All my friends are dead or locked up & I was just tired of being the disappointment and refused to be just another statistic If you have the will to change it’s possible. There’s only 3 places addiction leads. Jails, institutions & death

Sorry to hear that. I have lost family and friends have lost children to fentanyl. I don't know the answer but I know that it tears families apart. My mother and brother blew $1.3M on drugs and gambling and toys. Their drugs were prescription and they had ways of getting them. It's a vicious cycle that ends in death unfortunately.

people cannot get pain pills so some go for street drugs. most people don't have a drug problem, they have a pain problem. but our government doesn't care. they say they care and want people to live so they stop the doctors from prescribing opioids. then people die from street drugs. the government doesn't care about people. they had as soon to see people die from street drugs they drugs the doctors prescribed.

My son has been doing heroin sniffing the drug for over 10yrs he scares me bc one day it’s gonna happen when I open his door and find him deceased. He blows all his ssd and doesn’t participate in nothing every dollar he gets goes to that shit 💩 drug I’m his dad but about to leave him to himself and move out and hope he doesn’t loose his apartment. All I can do is leave it to the lord 🙏🏼
