I’m a mother who lost her child to gun violence…

My heart goes out to you, I witnessed a wife and mother of two, lose her husband and two kids to an illegal gang member, he had an immigration hold but our city’s policies didn’t allow to turn him to immigration. We let him free and he killed an innocent family

With all due respect..It wasn't the gun that took ur child, it was the murderous person behind it..With his intent to kill any weapon would have worked..I honestly mean no disrespect 🙏

My heart is heavy upon hearing the loss of your son. Do you live in the community where it happened... if so? Do you interact with the killers family in any way. have they reached out?.. Are you going to use your voice and experience or are you checked out a lil bit.?

Guns do not kill people. People kill people.......Gun laws, however, must change. But even with the change in laws. Criminals will always have access to them. Crime in this country is still high. The laws with criminal persecutions must be tougher. Death penalty sentences must be carried out soon after conviction.
