Mark 13:32-37 encourages believers to actively participate in God's work. It calls us to remain watchful for His return. God offers a grand vision of the end times, depicting how the world will fall into wickedness, yet He desires for His children to avoid sin at all cost. We must not let culture dictate our actions or influence our lives as followers of Christ. Our lives should be directed solely by God's word, without exceptions. We need to stop looking for ways to live that contradict God's design. God is Real. His word is Real, and Judgment day is Real. Therefore, stop playing games with God, for He loves you too much to ignore your accountability for your sins. 2 Corinthians 6:17 advises believers to distance themselves from ungodly influences and worldly, sinful matters. Thus, we must follow God's word and walk in the light at all times. We must stay alert and vigilant, as no one knows the day or hour of our Lord's return. As a child, I remember waking up to find a to-do list from my mom on the fridge. It was expected to be completed when I returned home from school. I understood the consequences of not fulfilling her tasks. However, as a kid, I thought I could avoid it. One day, I chose not to complete the tasks she assigned. I was tired and wanted to sleep. When she came home and found me asleep, she was disappointed in me. It wasn't due to a lack of resources, but because she had given me clear instructions, and I Chose to Disobey her. Let’s consider how God will feel when He returns and we haven't fulfilled all He has asked of us. Right now, YOU are called to Rise and Stand for God, no matter the circumstances, and there is no more time to WASTE. The King is coming!! The King is coming!! Will you be ready, or will you be found sleeping? The choice is yours.
