Not everyone who gets snap don't pay taxes

I don't know where you get your information but I worked 40 plus years. raised 4 kids that are now tax payers who work . I didn't get foodstamps when I was raising my kids. but now I am in my 60s and get ssdi . I paidr- my taxes. I now have to get foodstamps to eat myself.With everything prices going up on everything from food to housing . I can't live on my ssdi. and if they stop snap I will not eat. We don't have food banks here. I live in rural Kansas. So don't say people who get snap don't pay taxes!!! I payed mine for 40 years. Now it's your turn and all you want to do is bitch about it.

But 42 millions this is ridiculous. Out of these millions people can and should provide for themselves. This is a temporary program assistance how did it get to 42 millions. Fat Americans. Not good. Not good all.

The North Dakota SNAP program has very strict guidelines. Those who receive the assistance are not buying steaks and lobsters. They depend on the assistance to feed their families. With the use of debit cards they can not outright sell for cash. So many restrictions control every aspect, and many items are not allowed.

Spot on brother you said a mouthful me and my mom and my dad had a business we made $1.2 million a year one accident destroyed it all a house collapsed on me and a couple of workers. I was the one buried underneath while they’re trying to dig me out. My father had a heart attack because he didn’t know how to tell my mother who was dying of cancer and I was in the hospital for a long time with a serious brain injury and when I come too, they had to tell me that my father was dead, and my mother was dead. Everything was gone and tried to pick up the pieces from that is a nightmare.

Some people live with generations so that they don’t starve even if on ss only. It a shame that there would be fraud. Can you imagine the amount of people who prob qualify but find other ways just to scrap by

yes Walmart employees pay taxes on their 20 hours a week..then taxes on their 2 job most likely a "Fast Food" establishment
