Cholesterol meds I can’t take had all these muscle spasm entire body was on them 7 years . I did gene testing for meds on July and found out I should be taking them had a gene SLCO1B1 Gene that provides instruction for a OAT1P1 Protein that transport statins from my blood into my liver cells . So I poor function & my liver will not get rid of the drug so I have higher risk for muscle damage cause it stays in my blood steam . I got spasm.all over my body , went to 5 specialist last year and they all “ we don’t know “ till I had the gene test for meds so can’t take atorvastin , Crestor , zocor etc , too late now damage done . However did find out why I could take neurontin and lyrica they tried in 2020 have spine problems , kept having suicidal thoughts on them so they stop right away , found out have a gene so can’t take them either
