my large family got SNAP when my dad got laid off from construction. isn't it for the working poor?

It was always meant as a TEMPORARY fix…. Not a multigenerational way of life.

it is till they get back on their feet it's allso for poor elderly.and disabled and yes it has been abused by people who know how to work the system which makes it harder for those that really need it

they are not only for the working poor they are for everyone under the poverty level

for the working poor are those that absolutely cannot work it's not meant to be a life-sustaining thing for those that just want to sit at home
