yes SNAP benefits have been abused

#SNAPBenefits to many people are being junk food with SNAP and there does need to be restrictions on what you can buy.people forget the is from government monies if you want to buy food you need to go out and get a job #SNAPLife those people who are able should have to work part time for their benefits just because you have children you should show the program that you are a responsible for feeding your children properly #SNAPTalk snap has become some what of an entitlement to some people the more children you have the more benefits you get there needs to be a cut off somewhere so as not to encourage women to continue with this practice also more controls on the ability to sell your stamps to someone else and tighter controls on people that have businesses using snap to make food purchases for their businesses and it is happening. just a thought the cards need to have your picture on it so you would be the only one to use it

When I was on Facebook and Instagram there were people advertising that they were buying/selling food stamps. I reported them to Facebook and Instagram and I got a 30 day suspension. No reason given.

It’s really ignorant to think that everyone on food stamps is abusing them. Many DO work. When I was a young single mother of two, working full-time, and attending university, it was a struggle to pay rent, bills, and have enough $ to buy food. I was on food stamps - $108.00 a month. I didn’t receive them bc I was lazy. Many people today are in simplistic situations like mine. It’s probably why I have empathy. Many more fortunate, that have never had to be on food stamps or any struggle to live, have no empathy. I received my degree and my struggled changed. I didn’t need the assistance anymore.
