Again, this is a clean funding measure just to keep the lights on and allow us to continue negotiating appropriations bills — nothing more, nothing less. How can they defend voting against something they’ve supported so many times before?

The ballroom is irrelevant as it isn't tax money paying for it. And crying about foreign aid is fake when you cheered for 60 billion going to Ukraine when many couldn't afford groceries. I'm personally finding it hard to feel sorry for anyone. I used to have so much empathy that many times it was detrimental to me. It's just gone. It could be how entitled people on SNAP actually are or their threats of looting and acting the fool. They can do that yet can't get a job. It could be how they make videos eating steak and lobster, on our dime, while were at home eating peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. It could even go back to the pandemic. I remember people cheering to our being fired. You sure weren't worried that we wouldnt be able to eat with no money coming in. I don't see empathy returning anytime soon.
