SNAP Benefits Could Resume by Wednesday as 42 Million Nationwide Face Delays
Treasury Secretary Bessent announced Sunday that Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits could restart by Wednesday, following a national disruption that left more than 42 million Americans without November payments. 42 million is just insane. This benefit needs some changes and should be a stepping stone for anyone that needs it on a very short term basis. seniors and disabled should of course get it.

Welfare truly is a trap. It offers you a quick rescue till you can get on your feet and then you find out. It’s kind of nice that you don’t have to pay all your rent. You’ve got free medical you get food stamps and if you have kids you get WIC you get all kinds of lovely lovely programs. But the minute the minute you get a job you lose part or all of your benefits. And that’s the trap. Now these programs have to be restructured rules have to be put in place and enforced. Two children that’s all you get any other children that’s gonna be your financial responsibility. There has to be skin in the game for these people on state and federal aid programs.
