Most are to old to work or they are disabled or poor families and kids.

Some are, some aren't. Though I've never been on food stamps or snap, because I've always been willing and able to pull my own weight and my Family's weight.

If you make 60k around $30 ..$30 a year is what you pay in taxes for snap benefits that feed our military children, vets parents and grandparents. Also did you know 57% of snap recipients are white? However $700 a year for corporate welfare and most of these companies refuse to pay their people living wages so they end up on Snap. Personally I'm more pissed off about the $700,

They should have overhauled the welfare system, in.the 90s..It's been the same, since the 60s. It's mostly uneducated, unwed mothers, with multiple births from.different men, who don't work, get government benefits for free, and make it a lifetime occupation.to freeload off taxpayers
