I Took My SUV to the Food Bank, and I'm Not Ashamed

So do you drive around the block and donate it right back? Food banks are struggling to keep enough to distribute to people who need it. You're taking it away from them needlessly.

Instead of going to the food bank to support, why not volunteer with Helping Hand or another organization’s in the food pantry since most of the stocking is done by volunteers to support the community?

WOW my income is less than 25,000 a year and my snap was just reduced from $100 a month to $16 if and when I ever get it. my car is 16 years old and presently isn't running. and before you tell me to get a job, I'm 66 years old and 100% disabled and in a wheelchair. so your protest if that's what you are calling it. is insane. you should be donating, not taking from food banks at a time when so many are finding themselves without the ability to provide for their children and wirh Thanksgiving right around the corner. and probably affecting their Christmas as well

That’s a good ploy, but the food bank won’t actually asked for income, because federal workers who probably driving luxury cars lost their jobs, while they made great money, what was their bottom line? House payments of over $4,000 a month, insurance for those cars and payments easy 2,000, home and life insurance and many other bills that plying up.. so yes money not flowing, so they too have to eat and it just happens they force to go the food bank..you not going dip completely into a money market or retirement fund too quickly. So because you drive a SUV and have $250,000 in the bank is not important for publicity.. hope you gave the food to car at the end line, but probably not. Although I am well off, I not going to food bank.. I will ensure my immediate family is ok, and this thanksgiving is nice, I ensure my niece and nephews can survive being on their own by helping them with groceries.. see I knew Trump and what he was going do, because the road map came out April, of project 2

People are told not to work full time or they will lose govt asst/ snap. Than in one home you have multiple adults collecting full snap.
